Α traumatic experience, the loss of the mother, becomes the narrative frame of my series. The initial concept was to explore the idea of home, so I began to look closely at my family album photographs. This action of digging into the past triggered memories and brought unresolved emotions to the surface. The reconstruction of the original photographs is my attempt to come to terms with death and the imprint that it leaves upon us. The process reveals and represents hidden emotional layers and provokes reflection.
What happens to the people & the object behind closed doors
(work in progress)
This project emerge from my need to answer how object can effect us in our private enviroment. What is the dynamic of our private spaces? And how can photography reveal this? Our home reveals itself to be an enormous studio for changes.
